These species are river lamprey (Lampetra fluviatilis), salmon ( Salmo salar ), bivalve molluscs ( Unio crassus ) and brownfish (Cottus gobio); and the protected species of grayling ( Thymallus thymallus ) and its habitat. The land and water area of a protected area shall be divided into two special protection zones and one restricted zone according to the specifics of the protection regime and the degree of restriction of economic activities. A protected area is located in the villages of Karepa, Kiva, Pehka, Rutja, Tidriku and Varangu in Haljala rural municipality, Lääne-Viru county. The Regulation consists of five chapters: General provisions (1); General principles of the protection regime (2); Special protection zone (3); Restricted zone (4); and Final provisions (5).
