Résumé These Regulations, which have been adopted pursuant to article 10 of the Food Safety Act, make provision concerning the quality of water destined to human consumption. The aim pursued is the protection of human health from the adverse effects of any contamination of water, which must be wholesome and clean. Regulation 7 specifies the conditions under which water shall be deemed to be wholesome and clean. Schedule I sets out quality standards. The provisions shall apply to any water supplied by a water supplier (as defined by regulation 2). Natural mineral waters and water in medical products are excluded from the scope.
