Résumé These Regulations regulate the composition, treatment and labelling of preserved milk which is defined in regulation 2.2. The Regulations do not apply to dietetic products or products specifically intended for babies and young children. Regulation 3 sets out the treatment required for the preservation of milk, whether unsweetened, sweetened, condensed or dehydrated, whereas regulation 3.3. prescribed admitted additives for such milk. The remaining provisions of these Regulations concern packing and labelling of milk intended for the ultimate consumer and milk not intended for the ultimate consumer. Methods of analysis used in respect of products covered by these Regulations shall be those prescribed by Council Directive 79/1067/EEC, whereas methods of sampling shall be those laid down in Council Directive 87/524/EEC.
