Résumé The present Ordinance enforces the Introductory Law relating to the Federal Act on environment protection (Cantonal Environment Protection Law) of 26 January 2005. In particular, the Ordinance sets out in details the competent authorities in the Canton responsible for the enforcement of the aforementioned Cantonal Law. The text consists of 45 articles divided into 14 Parts as follows: Organization (I); General provisions (II); Protection against disasters and compensation (III); Environment-friendly facilities and industries (IV); Waste management (V); Protection against noise and sound (VI); Protection against sound effects and laser radiation at events, as well as protection against light effects (VII); Air pollution (VIII); Soil protection (IX); Environment impact assessment (X); Omissis (X); Special fees (XII); Genetic engineering and biotechnology (XIII); Transitional and final provisions (XIV).
