Résumé: This Act establishes the the Kenya Nutritionists and Dieticians Institute and provides rules with respect to the practice of nutritionists and dieticians. The Institute shall, among other things: (a) determine and set a framework for the professional practice of nutritionists and dieticians; (b) set and enforce standards of professional practice and ethics on nutrition and dietetics; and (c) enforce a programme of quality assurance for the nutrition and dietetic profession. The Act also establishes the Kenya Nutrition and Dieticians Accreditation Board and a Disciplinary Committee and provides for registration and licensing of of nutritionists and dieticians.
