Entry into force notes
The Decree shall enter into force on the day of its publication in the Official Gazette.
Résumé

The Decree approves the Supreme Chemistry Council’s Decision by which the national legislative frame is aligned with Commission Directive 2002/69/EC. The Directive lays down the sampling methods and the methods of analysis for the official controls of dioxins and the determination of dioxin-like PCBs in foodstuffs. In order to conform to the provisions prescribed in this Directive, the present Decree adopts the Annexes contained thereto. The sampling for the official control of the levels of dioxins and furans and the determination of the levels of dioxin-like PCBs in foodstuffs shall be carried out in accordance with the methods described in Annex I to this Decree. Sample preparation and methods of analyses used for the official control of the levels of the same substances in foodstuffs will comply with the criteria described in Annex II.
