The Ordinance implements the Directive 2008/68/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council on the same subject matter. The text – consisting of 40 articles – deals with the following matters: sphere of application, definition of terms, authorization of transport, exceptions, competences of the various Ministries, offices and institutes, duties of the sender, of the transport agency, penalties and transitional provisions. Three Annexes are enclosed.
