The Ordinance implements the Directive 2008/68/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council on the same subject matter. The text – consisting of 40 articles – deals with the following matters: sphere of application, definition of terms, authorization of transport, exceptions, competences of the various Ministries, offices and institutes, duties of the sender, of the transport agency, penalties and transitional provisions.
