The Permanent Secretary for Agriculture and Fisheries shall be the registrar of ear-marks. This Act sets out provisions on the registration of ear-marks; application procedures for registration; transfer of any registered ear-mark in the register; conditions for cancellation of ear-marks; offences; powers of the registrar, inspector or any police officer; registered ear-mark as prima facie proof of ownership; notice and fees. The Minister may make regulations to carry out the objects and purposes of this Act.
