Résumé

This Decree determines the competent authorities and criminal provisions related to the implementation of procedures and rules contained in the Council Regulation (EEC) No. 315/93 laying down Community procedures for contaminants in food; and Commission Regulation (EC) No. 1881/2006 setting maximum levels for certain contaminants in foodstuffs. The term "pollutants" used in this text means "contaminates" and "pollutants" as used in the legal acts of the European Union. The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Nutrition is responsible for the implementation of this Decree, in the part that refers to nutritional supplements, foods for special nutritional or health purposes, and foods or food in the hospitality industry, institutional establishments food and workplace food establishments, and the Ministry of Health. Official supervision of the implementation of these provisions is carried out by the Inspectorate of the Republic of Slovenia for Agriculture, Forestry and Food, except for the part relating to foodstuffs of animal origin, where official supervision is carried out by the Veterinary Administration of the Republic of Slovenia. The Health Inspectorate of the Republic of Slovenia performs the official supervision of the implementation of this Regulation in the part that relates to nutritional supplements, foods for special nutritional or health purposes and foods or food in the hospitality industry, institutional food establishments and establishments for food at work.
