Résumé This Decree of the Ministry of Agriculture, which is composed of 12 paragraphs and three Annexes, lays down, in accordance with European Union regulations, the methods for classifying and marking animal carcasses, the model protocol on classification, the method and scope of communication of the results of classification. Furthermore the present Decree regulates the procedure for issuing certifications and professional qualifications to carry out these activities. Annex 2 specifies the model protocol concerning the classification of pig carcasses and Annex 3 the model protocol for carcasses of bovines animals.
