Résumé In accordance with European Community provisions, this Act establishes rules governing activities related to the treatment of genetically modified organisms (GMOs) and genetic products. The Act is composed of the following Sections: (1) Introductory provisions; (2) General provisions; (3) Release into the environment of genetically modified organisms; (4) Placing on the market of genetically modified organisms and genetic products; (5) Import, export and transit of genetically modified organisms; (6) Competent authorities; (7) Proceedings concerning offences and fines; (8) Transitional and final provisions.
