Résumé

All municipalities shall have a food control office. More municipalities may organize a joint food control body. The County Chief may also order this cooperation (sect. 1). Section 1 lists also all Acts pursuant to which control of foodstuffs shall be carried out: the Act relative to quality of agricultural products of 1932, the Food Control act of 1933, The Act relative to slaughter-houses, meat industry and public meat control of 1957, and the Act relative to quality control of fish and fish products of 1959. The King may, pursuant to section 3, establish a Food Control Board. The instructions of such Board shall be implemented in the counties by the appropriate county official. Tasks of the Board are listed in section 4. The Board shall coordinate all food control in Norway. (7 sections)
