The Resolution sets out obligations of IOTC Contracting Parties and Cooperating Non-Contracting Parties (CPCs) in respect of such Scheme and sets out duties for observers. Specific provisions is made for artisanal fishing vessels and purse seiners. The Resolution sets out also procedural rules for data collection and exchange.
