Entry into force notes
The provisions of this Decree shall enter into force: as from 1 December 2002 for lindane, quintozene and permethrin; as from 1 May 2003 for parathion.
Resumen

The Decree amends a number of legislative texts relating to the fixing of maximum levels for pesticide residues in and on products on plant and animal origin, in accordance with Commission Directive 2002/66/EC. With article 1 to this Decree, the entries regarding lindane and parathion shall be deleted from Annex II to Ministerial Decree No. 300481/84. With article 2, a set of new maximum levels for pesticide residues (lindane, quintozene, permethrin and parathion residues on cereals) are added to Annex II (Part A) of Ministerial Decree No. 290341/88. Also, amendments regarding new maximum levels for pesticide residues are brought forth to Annex V (Part A) of Presidential Decree No. 497/89 with the Table contained in article 3 to this Decree. Article 4 contains a Table which adds certain maximum levels for pesticide residues on fruits and vegetables to Annex II of Ministerial Decree No. 352654/95.
