Resumen This Law establishes the principles of supervision over the public health, the structure of the system of supervision and state regulation with a view of guaranteeing the public health and ensuring safety of public health. Supervision over the public health includes ensuring safe natural environment and prevention of negative environmental impact. The Act consists of 7 Sections divided into 46 articles: (1) general provisions; (2) structure of the system of supervision over the public health; (3) state regulation of supervision over the public health; (4) ensuring public health; (5) healthy way of life; (6) practice of supervision over the public health; and (7) conclusive provisions. Regulation of supervision over the public health entails a series of sanitary and hygienic proceedings ensuring control of unpackaged foodstuffs and potable water, and also ensuring food quality control and food safety.
