Articles 2 to 14 concern the control by authorities of the placing on the market of food. Articles 15 to 23 contain penal provisions. The Inspector of Public Health is charged with the coordination of food control (art. 2). Public officers appointed under section 3 shall have the power to take samples of foodstuffs which are offered for sale (art. 5). Articles 6 and 7 concern the handling and analysis of samples. Food may be confiscated in accordance with article 9. Article 10 empowers the Governor to issue rules regarding manufacturing, preparation of processing of food, whereas rules regarding transport, storage, supply or vending of food may be made under section 11.
