The Lieutenant Governor in Council may issue regulations on the following matters, inter alia: (a) fish marketing standards; (b) handling, processing, storing, grading, packaging, marking, transporting, marketing and inspection of fish, including licence requirements for such activities; (c) quality and specifications for containers and the marking and inspection of containers; (d) requirements for the equipment and sanitary operation of establishments, vehicles, etc. used in fishing or the marketing of fish (sect. 10). The Act also specifies offences and penalties (sect. 9).
