The power attributed in the Act to an authority at Department level shall be vested in the Department of Environment, except those mentioned in sections 10, 14, 18, 26, 37, 39, 42-45, and 47, and section 11, first comma, section 25 second comma, section 27 first and third comma, and section 33, second comma, which shall be delegated to the Directorate of Nature Conservation. Also powers vested by the Act in the King (Government) pursuant to section 3, section 6, second comma, section 27, fourth comma, and section 38, shall be delegated to the same Department of Environment. Powers of the Department pursuant to sections 12, 13, 19, 20, 21, 31, 34-36, 40, and section 11 second comma, section 15, first comma, section 25 third, fourth and fifth comma shall be delegated to the County Chiefs.
