In areas where the Norwegian continental shelf extends beyond 200 nautical miles from the baselines, the King shall determine the outer limits on the basis of recommendations from the Commission for the outer limits of the continental shelf. Further, in areas where Norway's continental shelf abuts the continental shelf of other states, the King shall determine the boundary line in accordance with an agreement with the state in question.
