Abstract An Act to amend water laws including the Water Utilisation (Control and Regulation) Act, 1974. This Act amends that Act in section 18A so as to provide with respect to the Water Regulator for the Dar Es Salaam Water Authority (DAWASA) Designated Area. The Water Regulator is a public Office established under this Act. It shall exercise licensing and regulatory functions in respect of water supply and sewerage services, monitor water quality and carry out various other tasks relative to water supply services.
