Abstract This Act prohibits any person to import, manufacture, sell or distribute Styrofoam cups and plates, disposable plastic cups and plates, and plastic shopping bags, and promotes the importation, manufacturing, sale or distribution of recycled paper bags or reusable shopping bags. In case of violation of this prohibition, the person concerned shall be guilty of an offense and upon conviction liable for imprisonment or fine, or both.
