Abstract

This Regulation implements the Stock Foods Act 1940 by providing specifications on the substances and things that are foreign ingredients, the animals that are stock, the substances which are and are not stock food, the labels and written statements required in respect of supplies of stock food, the restriction of foreign ingredients in stock foods, the taking of samples for investigation, the offences under the Act or Regulation for which penalty notices (“on-the-spot” fines) may be issued and the amounts of the fines payable under such notices, savings and formal matters.
