Abstract

This Scheme, made by the Deputy Minister of Agriculture under section 23 of the Plant Improvement Act, sets out requirements and procedures for the certification of (plant materials of) potatoes by the Independent Certification Council for Seed Potatoes. The Scheme also provides for the accreditation and registration of greenhouses and in vitro multiplication facilities ("units") and measures for the prevention of pests affecting potato plants.
