Abstract

These Regulations amend the Seed Potatoes Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2010 in Schedules 2 and 6 to introduce zero tolerance of the disease Dickeya spp. for all grades of seed potato. Schedule 2 concerns classification of source material for planting, requirements and tolerances for growing crop, whereas Schedule 6 specifies tolerances for diseases, pests, damages and defects in seed potato tubers.
