Abstract

These Regulations, which apply to Jersey and the territorial sea of Jersey, provide for various matters of miscellaneous character in relation to sea fisheries. The Regulations, among other things: prohibit the use of certain substances for the taking or destroying of sea fish; prohibit the deposit or discharge into the sea of certain matter; impose restrictions on the fishing for spider crabs; prohibit the taking of sea fish by foul hooking; and impose requirement for marking of fishing gear.
