Abstract

The present Law lays down provisions relating to the use of harmful plant protection substances in agriculture. Its particular aim is the protection of human life and health, as well as of the environment from harmful effects resulting from the processing, handling and putting into circulation of certain products. To such purpose, producers must ensure compliance with the Law. The text consists of 29 articles divided into 5 Parts as follows: General provisions (1); Use, conservation, storage and disposal of plant protection products as well as advice on plant protection (2); Action plan for the sustainable use of plant protection products (3); Monitoring the use of pesticides (4); Final provisions (5).
