Abstract

The present Law lays down provisions relating to the use of harmful plant protection substances in agriculture. Its particular aim is the protection of human life and health, as well as of the environment from harmful effects resulting from the processing, handling and putting into circulation of certain products. To such purpose, producers must ensure compliance with the Law. The text – consisting of 11 articles - deals with the following issues: purpose of the present Law, definition of terms, users of plant protection products, general provisions on plant protection products, access to information, disposal of products, inspection, penalties and entry into force
