Abstract

The present Decree lays down provisions relating to the protection of the river Rhine in the Canton of Aargau. In particular, article 1 establishes that the river banks of the Rhine in Aargau up to the border with the Canton of Zurich are declared as a protected area and are subject to the conservation and utilization regulations, with the aim of preserving and promoting them. Article 3 provides on the zone classification and the text continues to provide for protection of the waterfowl, nature and landscape conservation zones, power plant protection, and forest. The text consists of 13 articles.
