Abstract

These Regulations, issued by the Minister of Agriculture under section 15 of the Agricultural Product Standards Act, 1990, specify standards for potatoes to be sold in South Africa and provide rules relative to the sale of potatoes on the domestic market. The Regulations prescribe classes for potatoes and standards for such classes of potatoes. The Regulations also provide rules relative to packing and marking of containers for potatoes.
