Abstract

These Regulations place restrictions on the sale of poultry meat produced in or imported into South Africa and placed on the domestic market that do not meet quality standards as prescribed by these Regulations and is sold according to classes and grades as assigned to it according to these Regulations. The Regulations also contain requirements regarding packing and labelling of poultry meat.
