Abstract

These Regulations provide for amending the Waste Management Regulations no. R/58 of 2013. The amendments concern: the power of the Agency and the Authority to delegate responsibility to the local authorities for the implementation of the Regulations at a village level; insertion of new paragraphs after article 6 of the main Regulations concerning responsibilities of waste producers; classification of waste separation and waste disposal according to categories: plastic, mineral and glass, bulky waste; modification of article 7 of the main Regulations concerning the waste management plan; modification of the article concerning responsibilities of waste transportation service providers; introduction of new terms; penalties and offences in case of misconduct and violations of the provisions of the Regulations.
