Abstract This Regulation of the Minister of Climate and Environment, which is composed of 11 articles and nine Annexes, lays down the scope and method of passing results of air quality measurements for the purposes of the Institute of Environmental Protection to perform mathematical modeling of transport and changes of substances in the air and to analyze the results of this modeling. Furthermore the present Regulations establishes the scope and method of passing results of this modelling to the Chief Inspector of Environmental Protection for the purposes of: (a) assessing levels of substances in the air and classifying the appropriate zones; (b) establishing an appropriate method of assessing air quality in individual zones; (c) determining the risk of exceeding the permissible levels caused by the transfer of pollutants from the territory of another country.
