Entry into force notes
This Regulation enters into force eight days after its publication in the Official Gazette, except for the provisions of the article 36 paragraph 3 which will enter into force on the day of the Croatian entrance into the European Union.
Abstract

This Regulation prescribes complete standards and requirements aimed to regulate the bathing water quality in surface waters, also establishing all necessary limit values for microbiological parameters and other characteristics of bathing water and the management of bathing water quality in order to ensure the preservation, protection and improvement of the quality of surface waters used for bathing and also contributes to the conservation and protection of the environment and human health on the territory of the Croatian Republic.
