The Regulation enters into force on the day it is published in the Official Gazette.

Abstract

This Regulation sets forth the rules and procedures for the determination and classification of biological, chemical, physicochemical and hydromorphological quality of surface waters, coastal waters and transitional waters. It also provides for the rules and procedures of monitoring of the water quality and quantity. The Regulation further sets forth provisions concerning the sustainable use of water, and measures to be taken to maintain or achieve good surface water status.
