Abstract This Regulation adds definitions of “environmental goal”, “quality factors”, ecological quality ratio”, “good ecological status”, “good ecological potential”, “good surface water status”, “maximum ecological potential”, “reference conditions”, “reference water bodies” and “classification” in Article 4. This Regulation amends Paragraph 1 of Article 6 regarding environmental standards for urban and industrial wastewater discharges, Paragraph 1 of Article 8 regarding impact assessment of surface water bodies, Article 10 regarding environmental quality standards, Paragraphs 1 and 2 of Article 11 regarding reference water bodies, Paragraph 1 of Article 12 regarding classification of surface water bodies, Article 13 regarding monitoring and evaluation, Paragraphs 1, 2 and 5 of Article 14 regarding trophic level and Paragraph 2 of Article 16 regarding measures for water quality management. This Regulation repeals Paragraph 2 of Article 7 regarding maps showing the water quality classes of water bodies and Annex-IV. Annexes II, V, VI and VII are amended and attached to this Regulation.
