Abstract This Regulation of the Minister of Health, which is composed of 14 paragraphs and three Annexes, lays down: (1) foodstuffs for which ionizing radiation is allowed, maximal permitted doses and permitted sources of ionizing radiation; (2) detailed conditions of radiation of food with ionizing rays, including requirements concerning devices used for radiation and measurement procedures; (3) detailed conditions concerning packaging and labeling of radiated foodstuffs; (4) scope of information placed in registers for all sources of ionizing radiation and deadlines of their storage; (5) detailed conditions of import from third countries of radiated foodstuffs.
