This Regulation entered into force on 25 December 2010.
Abstract

This Regulation of the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Food lays down provisions governing food additives and mixtures which are used as materials in food and stay in modified form as ingredient of food. This Regulation is composed of eight articles divided into the following Sections: General provisions (Sec. 1); Special provisions (Sec. 2); Transitional and final provisions (Sec. 3). Sweeteners intended for food production can be used only under conditions specified in Annex 1. Annexes from 2.1 to 2.5 specify the list of colours which are allowed for use in foodstuffs. Annexes from 3.1 to 3.6 describe food additives other than colours and sweeteners.
