Abstract

This Regulation concerns the limit values for coccidiostats or histomonostats in foodstuffs as a result of unavoidable cross-contamination with such substances in feed. It adopts Commission Regulation No. 124/2009 setting maximum levels for the presence of coccidiostats or histomonostats in food resulting from the unavoidable carry-over of these substances in non-target feed, which is a text with EEA relevance. The EU Regulation stipulates that the foodstuffs listed in Annex to that Regulation shall not be placed on the market where they contain a contaminant listed in the Annex at a level exceeding the maximum levels set in the Annex.
