Abstract

The Regulation provides for measures to fight the spreading of wild oats. It imposes certain duties and restrictions on owners or occupiers of land and farmers on cultivation on land where wild oats are present and on the use of certain grain for feeding purposes. It also places restrictions on the trading in grain in which wild oats may be present and grants powers to the Norwegian Food Safety Authority to regulate the trade in grain.
