Abstract

The purpose of the Regulation, based on the provisions of paragraph 204 (7) of the Water Act, is to establish requirements for a groundwater resource assessment and hydrogeological survey report in order to avoid excessive groundwater abstraction and to achieve or maintain good status for each groundwater body. It consists of ten sections: Purpose of regulation (1); Groundwater consumption stock T (2); Forecast groundwater reserve P (3); Data collected for assessment of groundwater resources and necessary activities (4); Pumping tests (5); Taking of water samples (6); General requirements for research report (7); Additional requirements for research report (8); Procedure for assessment of groundwater resources (9); and Composition of data on basis of establishment of groundwater resources (10).
