Abstract

The purpose of this Regulation is to: a) Promote the sharing of responsibilities, information exchange and cooperation in the international trade of certain hazardous chemicals in order to protect health and the environment; and b) to contribute to the health and environmentally sound use of certain hazardous chemicals. The Annex contains a list of chemicals that are subject to the export notification requirement in § 5 of this Regulation.
