Abstract

The purpose of the present Regulation is to contribute to ensuring market access for Norwegian products and to provide for an efficient certificate system. It also aims to ensure that food and feed products that are produced under special conditions are safe for health. It applies to business operators that produce, store, transport or export food, animal by-products, feed, live animals and germinal products to countries outside the EEA. The Regulation contains 19 sections divided into the following chapters: 1. Purpose and scope of application; 2. General provisions; 3. Production and export of food and feed on special terms; and 4. Administrative provisions.
