Abstract

The purpose of the present Regulation is to enable the management of wild deer resources in a way that safeguards the productivity and diversity of populations and habitats. It shall create the conditions for a local and sustainable management of wild deer with a view to their commercial and recreational use. Their management shall also ensure that population sizes do not cause unacceptable damage and inconvenience to other societal interests. The Regulation contains specific rules concerning hunting, capture and management of different deer species.
