The Regulation enters into force 14 days after its publication in the Journal of Laws.
Abstract

This Regulation of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, which is composed of two articles, amends certain provisions of the Regulation establishing qualifications of persons entitled to professional slaughter and laying down conditions and methods of animal slaughtering. The amendments concern the protection of animals at the time of slaughter or killing. The Regulation amends Annex 1 prescribing conditions for transporting animals to slaughterhouses. Annex 3, specifying detailed conditions and methods for killing animals, is amended too.
