Abstract

This Regulation implements Regional Act No. 8 on measures for the protection and conservation of wildlife and for hunting purposes. The Region will set out plans for the evaluation of the diffusion of ungulates in the Emilia Romagna Region and for the implementation of measures for the conservation of wildlife populations in numbers that are consonant with maintaining the ecological balance. The Territorial Hunting Division (A.T.C.) will keep a register of ungulates, implement plans for the repopulation of such animals and regulate hunting. Ungulates hunting is allowed only to authorized hunters and under the modalities set out in the Regulation. Certain hunting methods are prohibited and, in case of violation of the rules set in the Regulation, sanctions will be applied. (15 Articles)
