Abstract This Regional Law establishes the legal framework of activities on breeding, keeping bees, their use for pollination of agricultural entomophilous plants, manufacturing of beekeeping products, protection of bees from diseases and poisoning by agrochemicals, as well as protection of the rights and interests of citizens, individual entrepreneurs and legal entities involved in beekeeping in the region. The objectives of this Regional Law are to create conditions for meeting the needs of the regional population for quality beekeeping products, rational use of natural resources, creation of jobs, ensuring the rights and interests of citizens, of individual entrepreneurs and legal entities involved in beekeeping in the regional territory, as well as ensuring preservation and improvement of the bee gene pool. This Regional Law is aimed at solving the following tasks: (a) creation of conditions for breeding and keeping bees, the use of bees for pollination of agricultural entomophilous plants and horticultural crops in order to increase their yields; (b) development of the production and processing of bee products; and (c) protection of bees.
