Abstract

This Regional Act regulates the management and control of winegrowing potential in the Toscana Region, in compliance with the principles and rules laid down at the European Community level by virtue of Council Regulation (EC) No. 479/2008 on the common organization of the market in wine. Control measures cover the establishment of a register where areas under vines must be registered. Further provisions concern the duty to report transfers of areas under vines. Articles 16 and 17 set out penalties.
