Abstract

This Regulation implements the Protection of the Environment Operations Act 1997 by providing specifications on several matters related to environmental protection. In particular, the Regulation covers issues related to environmental protection licensing (Chapter 2), water pollution (Chapter 3), the implementation of the national pollutant inventory and related data collection (Chapter 4), vehicle testing and inspection (Chapter 5), penalty notices (Chapter 6) and miscellaneous (Chapter 7).
