The Decree shall enter into force as from 1 November 2002, unless otherwise provided for by the individual sections of this Decree.
Abstract

This Decree introduces measures for the control of classical swine fever in conformity to Council Directive 2001/89/EC and the Annexes connected thereto. Its provisions shall apply to pigs, meaning any animal of the Suidae family, including feral (wild) pigs. The presence or suspected presence of classical swine fever are compulsorily and immediately notifiable to the competent authority, in compliance with the provisions of Presidential Decree No. 133/1992.
